Conditioning Camp and Try Out Dates 2010-2011
Teams play each other in their division 4 times and each of the other teams twice for a 38 game schedule with 12 teams making the playoffs. The CJHL has been operating since 1973 and is an extremely well run league with a President, Board of Directors, web-site, full time statistician, an All Star Game, Rookie All-Star Game, inter-provincial league All Star Game, league awards, league playoffs, Provincial Playoffs, and a Western Canadian Championship.
“WHY PLAY FOR THE CHIEFS” In the past, former Chiefs have had time to do other things such as attend high school, NAIT, Grant MacEwan, Concordia College, U of A or work both full and part time. The team practices twice a week and usually plays two games per week. There is a full two-week break from regular season action during Christmas. All past Chiefs have loved: - The small town atmosphere - The excellent fan base and kids booster club - The weekly write ups and pictures in the sports section of the local Beaumont newspaper - Their own large dressing room c/w T.V., video, Sony Playstation II, foosball, individual dressing stalls, showers, supplied shampoo, free tape (white, black, and sock) as well as anytime keyless entry access - Two team trainers and massage therapist - Full time equipment manager - NO FEES to play or practice - Supplied pants, gloves, home, away, and third jerseys, socks, tape, equipment bags & practice jerseys - Friday night home season games each and every season - Home game programs c/w player pictures and profiles, player of the month, league and individual player stats and much more - Team building functions such as paint ball, team meals, rookie night, Christmas party, team photoshoot, and an annual awards banquet - Top notch coaching - Team web site - Skate Sharpener (Home and Away games) - Third Jersey
